Las nominaciones de los premios Q fueron anunciados recientemente y la agrupación Franz Ferdinand obtuvo la mayoría, con cuatro nominaciones en total, como Mejor Agrupación Nueva, Mejor Video, Mejor Sencillo por Take Me Out y Mejor Álbum.

Muse, Scissor Sisters y The Streets tienen tres y Kelis, Keane, Morrisey, Maroon 5, Chili Peppers y Outkast con dos cada uno.

La ceremonia de premiación será el 4 de octubre en Londres.
